How am I suppost to know if universtiy of oregon or texas tech isn’t better for me. I am not worried about cost, just about finding the right school for me. so if you go to Arizona State or any other university PLEASE give me some prespective of things

I graduated from ASU with my BS in Physics so I don’t know exactly, but ASU is okay in general. I suspect Texas might be better academically but the school of engineering at ASU is supposed to be pretty strong. I guess it depends on many factors- where you live now, your (anticipated) lifestyle, tuition, etc, etc. I do know that Univ of Ariz is supposed to have a very strong Chem Eng program in particular, but then again, you’d have to live in Tucson… If you’d like to talk about this in more detail, give me an email:

The rankings say Smith will have a better week at home against Arizona than McNabb will IN Green Bay but I’m thinking Mcnabb is gonna make a statement his first game. I need some opinions on who to start.

This is a no brainer, McNabb is a studd QB and was the #1 fantasy player before he got hurt last year – not LT, not Manning it was McNabb, he’s a perenial MVP candidate for a reason, he’s your stud you ride him, make no mistake – the ONLY reason you have Alex Smith is for the bye week and in case McNabb gets hurt, other than that under no circumstances are you to start Smith ahead of McNabb

Not sure which rankings you’re looking at but don’t take them to literal, they can be a nice guide but never bench your elite players based on a matchup

My parents just booked a condo in Phoenix from Christmas to New Years this year. They want me to meet them there but I think we’ll just spend the week staring at each other because there won’t actually be anything to do. Mom says there’s skiing. I’m skeptical. Places like snow bowl and sunrise look good, but when does the season start?

Hi. Honestly, ski season here in Arizona is pretty scarce. The last few winters Snowbowl & Sunrise have been closed due to lack of snow. On occassion and certain days, they will blow out fake snow. If you don’t mind the fake snow, then it will be fine for you. Right now it’s still pretty hot. And also, if you’re staying in Phoenix, to get to Snowbowl, you’ll have to drive about 2 – 2.5 hours to get to Snowbowl and another extra hour or so to get to Sunrise. So I’m not sure if you’re up to all that driving either.

It can be from Texas, New Mexico, Arizona or California. Just for a day trip for lunch, haircut, dancing, margaritas and liquor. Maybe some dental work. How far is it from the nearest RV park or campground?
I’m handicap and need to be able to drive in without worrying about vandalism.

Upon the recommendation from an elderly neighbor, my family has been crossing over to Progresso for about 8 years now. When you walk over the bridge the town is right there – about five blocks of businesses on either side of the road, with many of them being pharmacies and dentists and the rest being shops and restaurants. The people are happy and courteous and mexican currency is not needed – all business is done in dollars. Most of the people walking across with you will be senior citizens from the U.S. going over to get their meds and dental work done. The parking in front of the businesses is mostly U.S. cars with handicap stickers on them so i don’t think that is a problem, just make sure you are insured. We have never had any problems of any kind. We’ve never gotten sick from eating there and I have a very sensitive stomach. My wife and 20 year old daughter have made this trip alone without me for the last three years. I’m searching the internet now to make sure it is still safe but I believe it to be. It is a very small town with not much there for drug lords.

Technically I’m not suppossed to be living in the US, but I have a valid passport and ID’s (canadian). If we travel together…will I have any problems because I’m not suppossed to be living here?

how big is tuscon and is there really work there. i hear there is alot of work there compared to most states. im in micigan, our unemployment rate is at 18%, ad arizona is only at 7 %…..

Jobs seem pretty sucky here to me, but I guess compared to 18% it must not be that bad! I’m in Phoenix though and there is far more here than Tuscon, Tuscon is like podunk town in the desert with a University. Besides the University there is really not much. Look into Phoenix, and if you like the snow that you have in Michigan, look into Flagstaff Arizona, it’s 2 hours north of Phoenix and they get snow in the winter.

I am trying to become a forensic scientist at arizona state university but i want to go to the tempe campus. is there a place i can go to get a bachelors degree in science there or do i have to go to the west campus for the criminal justice and criminology

you should do a lab degree like Clinical Lab science or medical technology. not criminal justice, it will not teach you lab stuff.

Planning a camping trip and I was wondering if anyone has camped in any good areas in Arizona? swimming-hiking-fishing would be nice!! If anyone knows anything about Clear Creek Campsite can you give me some info!! It will be appreciated!!

Hi. I haven’t been to Clear Creek but know the area. If you plan on going in summer, it’s hot. Already around the Camp Verde area the temps are in the 100′s to 105′s during the day. Summer in AZ is the time to go up higher towards Flagstaff. Lake Mary is a nice pine filled area and the temps will be a bit cooler. Lake Mary turn off is just before you hit Flag if you’re heading north on I-17. There’s also Mormon Lake out there too. The Mogollon Rim (if you’re not from AZ, it’s pronounced ‘Moe- gee- on …a hard G like in gear) near Payson is a nice area. Christopher Creek campground is shaded by pine, also Canyon Point campground up the road from Christopher Creek campground has more sites and they are a nice distance from your camping neighbor. Both campgrounds have camp hosts. There are a lot of lakes in the area of the rim, and camping, and since it’s national forest, you could pull off onto one of the dirt roads and set up camp for free. During the summer months though, the days still warm up even in the higher elevations, that’s perfect for frolicking around water, but I would suggest taking a tarp or two to shade your camp site (and tent perhaps). Currently, there are fire restrictions. Last I looked you could have a campfire but only in designated areas. Flagstaff elevation is 7,000 feet and Payson is around 4,900 feet. Hope this helps!
