Cool name for a gal … Cool name for a gal from the early 70′s. Uncool for the early 10′s-unless of course she’s the daughter of a reeeely-as in reeeely big sheew-reeeely big rock star…like Mark Lindsay for example. If he named his daughter Arizona—-AZ for short—-well, that would make sense. And if that didn’t make sense to his little punkin, surely all the residuals that went to finance her new Mertsehdehz convertible sports car with the 12 cylinder engine guaranteed would soothe her qualms.

I remember … I remember listening to this song when I was growing up in Arizona. Hard to believe how long ago that is now. I don’t live in Arizona now, but AZ will always be home. What great memories this song evokes!
I think the main … I think the main problem with music now days is that somewhere along the way they forgot that synthesizers/computers are supposed to be a part of the creative process of making/performing music not be the entire element… in other words I feel they’ve taken out the talent (for the most part) and let the “machines” take over.
