I have 1 condo in southern California and one in Phoenix arizona that I have on the market to sell. Both have agents, but
I would like to advertise them someplace online. Are there any good websites where I can pay a fee to advertise them online. I know the agents only list them on mrmls.
thanks
Excuse me, but aren’t you paying them good money to help market your homes? Then damn it make them do their jobs and buy space on various websites for you! It’s part of the marketing fee for cry’n out loud.
I can tell you from experience, that owners don’t get much activity from listing themselves. I’m a Realtor and I haven’t had one call on my own homes listing on the web. While people do search the web more than before, they are taking their time making decisions to select homes and more often than not, they hookup with a Realtor and the Realtors shows them everything listed. Understand? So kick you agents in the butt and demand they advertise on the net~!
I have a furnished condo in Scottsdale Arizona that is listed with a realtor on MLS but very little if any other marketing of the property is taking place. I am new to being a landlord and am looking for advice regarding how to go about marketing this property myself becasue I dont feel the realtor is doing enough to get the condo occupied by either a short term or long term renter.
Try these sites, we found if you put it on Craig’s list it will be put on most of these other sites.you may also check to see if there are any specialty health care facilities in your area that you can rent to patients families short term at a discount.

My parents just booked a condo in Phoenix from Christmas to New Years this year. They want me to meet them there but I think we’ll just spend the week staring at each other because there won’t actually be anything to do. Mom says there’s skiing. I’m skeptical. Places like snow bowl and sunrise look good, but when does the season start?
Hi. Honestly, ski season here in Arizona is pretty scarce. The last few winters Snowbowl & Sunrise have been closed due to lack of snow. On occassion and certain days, they will blow out fake snow. If you don’t mind the fake snow, then it will be fine for you. Right now it’s still pretty hot. And also, if you’re staying in Phoenix, to get to Snowbowl, you’ll have to drive about 2 – 2.5 hours to get to Snowbowl and another extra hour or so to get to Sunrise. So I’m not sure if you’re up to all that driving either.

Im a 23 year old that just came into about 250k in cash. I want to get into rental property’s. I was thinking buying several condo’s in pheonix arizona. Buy some nice condo’s near ASU and renting them. I figured condo’s would be easyer to rent out considering I can buy some in nice complex’s. They have gym’s pools etc. I could only afford a fourplex if i went that route and the one’s ive seen in my price range arn’t exactly apealing. I would be able to buy about four out right and then rent them all out. Just worried about HOA fee’s and such.
Im also open to any other state or city in the US. As long as I could afford to buy there. I can’t assume any morgage due to the fact my credit is more shot then a target at a shooting range. All answers are much appreciated.
wow, sounds like you made a score! okay, you are wise in wanting to make the bucks work for you, and condos are an alternative, but check before you buy because SOME condo complexes restrict the number of units that can be held for rentals–you’d have to read the CC&R’s to find this info (or ask a condo board of directors member). And yes, the HOA’s will affect your bottom line so check those out, too. Also be aware the Association can be quite picky if you rent to loud college students….
I did what you want to do about thirty years ago–bought/rented condos–and i found dealing with a condo association to be rather stressful. So i went with small apt buildings and single family residences, both of which i found more appealing than condos, but that’s just my opinion.
Your rentals-in-a-college-town idea is a wise one, as there will always be a new crop of renters every year. Caution: college kids don’t take care of places very well, so take the max security you legally can–if you hold alot of the tenants’ money (for security) they are much more cooperative than if you only hold a little of their money. Don’t let any cute coeds talk you down on security–remember, this is your livelihood. Good luck!
My brother and I bought a condo in Arizona a little more than 2 years ago. Both of our names are on the mortgage and the title. He is thinking about getting married and I was wondering what would happen to the ownership of our condo if he did.
Would his wife become part owner in the condo? If this is the case, can I do anything to prevent her from owning part of it?
That is property owned before marriage so no she will not be part owner. However, if you make money renting the property she is entitled to a share of those profits being his wife. That would be community property.
We want to vacation In Tucson during the month of February or March of this year. We would need to be near food shopping and the apt or condo needs to be furnished. We are senior citizens and would like to be in a senior environment if possible. The condo or apt. must have a pool.
Try these sites February is a tough month with golf tourny and Rodeo things get full! Good luck see you soon!
