Arizona

We are looking for an annual place to go to the ocean. Preferably SanDiego – Pacific Beach, Mission Bay, San Diego Gaslight District, Seaport Village etc. We’re a mature couple, no children (we have furry children but they stay home with the sitters) and we love the ocean. We’re in Arizona . We’ve been going to the same hotel for 6 years but they’ve changed their management and attitudes are rude now. So, we thought if we could get to know an honest person/couple to trust us with a condo to sit for them and keep the place tidy. We’d love to make arrangements with someone who may know of even of a place we could stay at without the high end cost. But, can be assured of a good, clean couple to care for their home with respect.
Anyone know anyone that has a nice condo/apartment/house/townhouse? Thank you.

I am considering buying a condo where there are association dues of $180/month and it says in the CC&R’s that this fee is subject to increase at anytime. What I was wondering is, how often can they increase it(are their AZ laws protecting us from extreme increases?) and…is their a cap/month or year that the increase is limited to.

They are required to provide you with the CC&Rs before you buy. As far as I know there is no limit on how much they can raise them unless they limit them themselves. If the developer is still involved they usually run roughshod over the HOA.

I have a legal issue to deal with a require something legal to verify that my mother lived at a specific address in 1974. Can anyone give me any ideas. It was a condo. Intellius could not help. Credit records were not helpful. Any ideas. We are working on the utility companies at this time.

Contact the county clerk of courts or the public office of records. You could also try old newspaper’s at the library’s microfilm.

I am moving to Arizona with my Husband and son and would like to find a great suburb to call home. I come from a small town in southern cali but have lived in Downtown Seattle for two years and the city is just not for me. I want a nice house or condo with great neighbors and a good community. We are also looking to be close to shopping and restaurants, and possibly not too far from a kindergarden or school. Any help on this whould be greatly appreiciated!

THERE IS STILL A PROGRAM RUNNING FOR NEW HOME BUYERS… SEVERAL THOUSAND TOWARD YOUR DOWN PMT. MY DAUGHTER JUST TOOK ADVANTAGE OF THIS. SCHOOLS ARE NEW AS WELL. Hello! In about a year I will need to move out of my parents house. They currently live overseas, and are allowing me to rent and live in there home here in Arizona. They plan to sell in a year. I live in Mesa, AZ.

My question is: I need to find a place that will accept my two dogs. Many places have breed restrictions. I have 2 dogs: a pitbull female (spayed) and a boxer/pitbull male (neutered). The dogs are very well trained, well behaved, and very loving and I’m not just saying that because I’m the owner.

I’m looking to rent a home, or condo, or townhouse in the mesa, (east valley) area. Or if there’s anyone willing to rent out a guest house in the area?

If you aren’t looking for a rentee, lol or however you’d say it. Do you know where I might try to look?

I’ve tried rent.com…all the apt’s listed (i’ve tried searching homes and it only lists apt’s) have breed restrictions.

Try Remax-they usually have a listing of home and condo rentals. You can also check the classified ads in the AZ republic or azcentral.com.
However, it will ultimately be up to your landlord if they will allow the dogs. Some may not, especially in a condo because of space issues and another unfortunate clause in some home insurance companies that list Pit Bulls, Rottweilers, Akitas, Chows, Dobermans, and German Shepards as a "dangerous breeds". If the insurance company finds out a "dangerous breed" resides on the property, they can drop the insurance. And report why so it will be difficult for your landord to get insurance again. Some might not be willing to take that chance. Talk to who ever is renting the property, explain the situation. Someone will probably be willing to lease with the dogs. Good luck.
