Arizona Diamondbacks home stadium. Why is it the only field with a dirt path to the mound ?

I have never seen this before anywhere else.
Don`t they have to be uniform ?

It is an old school nod to ballpark fields of previous generations. It was designed back in the day for a path for the catcher to the mound. The only uniformity is the dimensions of the diamond itself, lines in the batter’s box, along the baselines, etc.

I keep my house super clean especially the bathrooms i clean them every other night or so.. every room is clean..but for some reason everytime this time of year i’ll get a few that come from the bathroom drain…and there huge!!

do they come inside from the drain cuz its so hot outside?

No they are just nasty critters that will and can live anywhere.Yup looking for water too,but can’t live in it.

Why are homes in Phoenix Arizona so cheap?

Me and my husband are thinking about moving to a warmer state. We currently live in Colorado and the winters are really tough. We have really enjoyed Arizona and want to consider moving there. We have found houses for around $70,000 that are exactly what were are looking for. My question I guess is what is the catch? In Colorado, $70,000 will barely buy you the lot for your house. Do they have cheaper homes because they have high HOA fees or do they high taxes? We are excited about the prices of the homes and just don’t want to get our hopes up if we find out that we really could not afford them.

Phoenix was especially hard hit by the housing collapse. Take a long weekend and go look at houses. Perception and reality may not exactly match up.
