Is Arizona State Uni. I good college for communication?
Well, Arizona State is really not a great college to begin with. Its barely better than a community college, and with a 95% acceptance rate, it is typically overcrowded. Honestly, communications is a fluff major – the type of major athletes take just so they can play in college before going to the pros. There is really little you can do with a degree in communications.

My family and i moved from Arizona to Washington State. I have received all my W2 forms from both states. Arizona has a state tax, so i know i must file that. I need to know if i file 2 separate returns. Additionally, is there a good FREE place to get these filed?
Wash has no income tax
there are no free sites for filing state returns
you probably will file Az non resident since it appears your move to Wash in not temporary

im an arizona state fan, and im no expert at the rankings in college football, or who has what players or anything, but do any of you think asu has a good shot at getting on the top five bowls? (sugar, orange, rose, BCS, fiesta) i know the odds are they wont go undefeated these coming weeks against usc, cal, oregon, ucla and UA, but i mean maybe they could win a few of those games. so yeah, what do you guys think?
Its possible but they have a tough schedule ahead.
vs Cal
@ Oregon
@ UCLA
vs USC
vs Arizona
Out of CAL, Oregon and USC they must be able to win 2 of those 3 games to have a shot at a big bowl game.
I live in foxboro, massachusetts and have always wanted to go to asu and recently coastal carolina. Arizona State is the number 25 business school in the country, stanford is number 12 and sunny 340 days a year with the hottest girls and best parties in the country. Coastal is closer to home and in myrtle beach both are good schools for me.
I’m a Coastal Carolina grad and I love my alma mater. I’m also "not from ’round here" and can tell you honestly that the general SC culture hasn’t permeated Myrtle Beach. Fact is, not many here are from here and many don’t even speak Southern.
That said, you’re looking at #12, #25, and a tier 4 college.
You should attend the best college you can get into and afford that will help you most with your future. If you find that is CCU then "welcome to Myrtle Beach" — I’m thinking you’ll need some really good reasons to make CCU that choice.
Note: While the physical mailing address of CCU is Conway SC — it’s actually located between Conway and Myrtle Beach. 7 miles from the surf – on the main road in, is "at the beach" ☺

I am a junior, transfer student going to Arizona State this fall.
I was wondering, once you’ve completed your general ed, are there any other courses you need to take other than your major ones?
For example, if i am a history major, do I just take history classes once i completed general ed? Or, does ASU require you to do your major courses as well as other courses?
I know i need to talk to an advisor, but i wanted to ask you fine folks as well…. hopefully, students from ASU or former students!
So what i am understanding is that you took all the gen eds for Arizona state right? If your answer is yes… YES, you only have to take classes that you need in order to major in history. however, there are some parts that gets tricky….
Since you are transferring, ASU only allows certain amounts of credits transferred and certain amounts of credits that you NEED to take in ASU to able to graduate.. i forgot how much exactly but ask your advisors when you meet them (its manadatory for ASU to meet with an advisor before school starts) They have this guideline where if you are tarnsfering from community college and taken courses that would be credited as 300 or 400 level in ASU… it could be good and bad because ASU makes you to take certain amount of upper classes IN ASU to graduate as well.
regarding all these exceptions, my recommendation is to plan your last two years of college in advanced so that all these requirements are met. After that, you could ask your advisors to check if you met all the requirmenets to graduate on time. The advisors would only help you next semester not your whole two years that you are there so if YOU ask them with your schedule.. they will be more than happy to look at it.
Oh and i have graduated in science and my advisors gave me already planned layout schedule to graduate in 4 years. Ask your advisor if they have it for a history major as well.
Hope this helps. Good luck!!
