In the first of a series of videos to share the amazing hiking trails of Arizona (especially around Tucson), here’s an apx 8 minute winter hike to Romero Pools. With a trailhead in Catalina State Park, the Romero Canyon Trail takes you high into the Catalina Mountains where you find remarkable pools of water.

Yikes…I’ve been to Romero Pools dozens and dozens of times…but last time I took a nasty fall…shoulder surgery is in my future
;-(. It’s great, but be careful.

Glad you enjoyed this hike. LOVE it up there…but last time I went I had a MAJOR fall and now need surgery on my shoulder. It’s still worth the effort! take care, Jim

watched your video,Thanks it was very good. We just went on this hike with our four year old and it was amazing we didn’t quite make it to the pools ran out of time it was 4:30 pm when we got to the top ridge when you start your decent down to the pools. Thanks for showing what the Pools look like!!!
